The Role

Reporting to the manager, client services, you will join a high-energy, customer focused team responsible for delivering IT services through Cameco\'s Saskatoon-based Client Services team.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out a variety of assigned technical support tasks that support the IT Lifecycle of computer hardware and peripherals
  • Assist in activities including but are not limited to, inventory and asset management, imaging, configuration and disposal of desktops, laptops, and other related equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues and escalate tickets that require higher level support for final resolution
Required:
  • Diploma in information technology or in a related technical field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support environment
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Knowledge of desktop hardware, preferably from an enterprise or business environment
  • Knowledge of software installation and troubleshooting in a Windows environment
  • Demonstrated experience providing outstanding customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of IT Service Delivery models and principals
Recommended:
  • Experience with Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, Microsoft Office products, Apple, and Dell products
  • ITIL, Help Desk Institute certification
