Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
Contribute to the preparation of plans, profiles, and detailed drawings for a wide range of projects -- from site plans and subdivisions to road reconstructions and water/wastewater facilities.
Support fieldwork including construction site inspections, topographic surveys, and layout.
Assist with design calculations for storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermains, and stormwater management facilities.
Work on preliminary and detailed designs for grading, drainage, and servicing plans.
Help prepare construction cost estimates, tender documents, and specifications.
Take on additional opportunities to learn and grow as assigned.
G license and access
Minimum Qualifications
Education in Civil Engineering Technology (or equivalent experience).
Aptitude with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
Clear and confident communication skills (oral and written).
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate in a team setting.
Physical and environmental requirements for this position are available upon request.
Nice-to-Haves (Assets)
Familiarity with stormwater management practices or low-impact development strategies.
Experience with Revit software.
Previous exposure to construction or design-related work.
Experience in a consulting or multi-disciplinary environment.
