Hiring Unit:

Athletics & Recreation
Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Head Coach Martlet Volleyball, the technical specialist will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives as well as other related functions that will help ensure the success of the volleyball student-athletes.
Primary Responsibilities:Assist the head coach with practices and games as required Provide positive specific feedback Help deliver practice content Support administrative tasks Assist with both at home and away games


Other Qualifying Skills and/or AbilitiesNCCP Level II required Excellent interpersonal, analytical, evaluation and planning skills Event coordination and activity monitoring University-level playing or coaching knowledge is considered a strong asset Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends (working hours will depend on the time and resources needed during different time of the season) Prior coaching experience at an elite/competitive level (minimum 3 years) is desirable
