Vodaland Canada is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Solutions Representative to support the specification and adoption of our products within the engineering and construction communities across Canada. This role is ideal for someone who excels in relationship building, technical consulting, and proactive business development within a B2B setting.
Key Responsibilities
The Technical Solutions Representative will handle a blend of proactive sales outreach, technical education, and account management, with a strong emphasis on working directly with engineering firms.
Business Development & Outreach
Cold Calling:
Execute targeted outreach campaigns to introduce our product solutions to engineering firms.
Client Visits:
Conduct structured visits to prospective engineering clients to understand project needs and provide tailored product guidance.
Lead Generation:
Use industry resources and available project databases to identify and pursue construction opportunities where our products may be a fit.
Technical Education & Consulting
Training Sessions:
Plan and deliver both formal and informal training for engineering teams, focusing on product applications and best practices.
Presentations:
Provide engaging technical presentations and educational sessions for engineers and technical staff.
Technical Support:
Offer direct support to designers and specifiers to ensure accurate integration of our solutions in current and upcoming projects.
Relationship Management
Account Development:
Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with engineers and specifiers, becoming a trusted and reliable technical resource.
Qualifications
Experience in technical sales, specification sales, or technical support, ideally within the construction or engineering industries.
Strong ability to understand and communicate technical product information.
Proven experience with cold calling, lead generation, and business development.
Familiarity with industry project databases or similar tools used for lead identification.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills suited for engaging technical audiences.
Education in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or another related technical field is highly preferred.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
