The Technical Solutions Manager (Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Architect) collaborates with customers and internal teams to define strategies, roadmaps, and architectures for deploying and managing complex cybersecurity solutions. This role translates customer needs into actionable requirements and may lead or advise implementation teams.
The Technical Solutions Manager (Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Architect) gathers and analyzes customer CyberSecurity needs, translates these needs into requirements for specific systems, products, and services, and may lead or advise the teams which install, operate and maintain the solutions. This includes working with customers to identify functional and non-functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the evaluation of options and identification, justification and design of the customer's solution.
The position is responsible for the overall solution related to quality, performance, availability, scalability and integrity, ensuring solution usability. The Technical Solutions Manager (Cybersecurity Pre-Sales Architect) reports directly to the VP, People, Culture and Information Security and interfaces with all affected stakeholders both internal and external to ISM in a matrix environment.NOTE: the preferred work location for this position is Regina, Saskatchewan; however, the work location will be dependent upon the location of the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:Design and present tailored cybersecurity architectures and proposals that address specific business challenges. Work with Business Development teams, internal CyberSecurity teams and other key stakeholders to identify, roadmap, and develop solutions to increase market share. Conduct discovery sessions and security assessments to identify customer pain points and regulatory requirements. Design and present tailored cybersecurity solution architectures, roadmaps, and proposals that address customer challenges. Lead technical workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solution value. Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, business-relevant language for technical and executive stakeholders. Provide expert guidance on security best practices, compliance requirements, cloud security, and risk mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and proposals in support of sales opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with product offerings. Support RFP/RFI responses with detailed technical input and solution architectures. Build trusted advisor relationships with clients by understanding their business drivers and demonstrating long-term value. Stay ahead of emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends to provide thought leadership and strengthen customer confidence. Act as a customer advocate throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring their needs and expectations are represented.

Quien es usted
Qualifications:Post secondary education in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., AWS Security Specialty). 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, pre-sales engineering, or related roles. 7+ years of IT experience in various delivery roles including Security Operations, Infrastructure Support Services, and cloud Architecture Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), technologies (e.g., SIEM, IAM, EDR), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven experience in customer-facing roles with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., AWS Security Specialty).

Key Skills & Abilities:Exceptional ability to build rapport and trust with clients across technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with Zero Trust architectures and secure cloud migration strategies. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize effectively. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
