Job Description


General Description:

The Technical Solution Designer will work closely with our customers to understand their requirements and design software applications that meet their needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and development teams to translate customer needs into software requirements, user flows, and wireframes. The Technical Solution Designer will build mockups and work closely with the development team to bring a customer\'s vision to life and ensure all aspects of design requirements are fulfilled.

How Will You Make an Impact:

  • Collaborate with customers during the pre-sales phase to gather and understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals.
  • Translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and document them effectively.
  • Develop intuitive project architecture, flowcharts, wireframes and clickable prototypes.
  • Work closely with the Learning Services sales team to develop innovative solution proposals that address customer needs and align with our capabilities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure the accurate implementation of design specifications.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software design and development.
What you\'ll bring to the role:
  • Proficient in designing visually appealing user interfaces with a strong focus on aesthetics, usability, and consistency.
  • Strong background in technical solution design, architecture and implementation, with knowledge across various technology stacks and platforms.
  • Knowledge of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
  • Able to develop user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Proficient in creating interactive prototypes using tools like Adobe XD, InVision, Figma, or similar.
  • Familiarity with usability testing methodologies and the ability to derive actionable insights from user feedback.
  • Meticulous approach to design to ensure pixel-perfect deliverables and a high level of polish.
  • Familiarity with software development principles and architecture.
  • Knowledge of design systems and responsive design for multiple devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate design concepts and rationale.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex technical challenges and devising creative and effective solutions to meet client requirements.
Suggested Qualifications/Experience:
  • Professional work experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, system architect, or similar UX-related role.
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
