Under the supervision of the Vice President of Operations, the Director will be responsible for managing the Technical Team (Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Technicians, MMF, Painter, Electrician), and in particular:



Team Management:



Promote and manage the health and safety of team members, tenants, and contractors. Supervise, train, and manage the technical team, including maintenance technicians, building maintenance professionals, and other building professionals.

Facilities Management:



Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of building facilities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards; Oversee and conduct inspections of buildings under our responsibility. Identify required actions and follow up; Serve as the resource person for technical questions regarding the technical management of properties; Collaborate with operational teams to ensure optimal efficiency of technical and energy operations. Negotiate and manage contracts (related to building security and maintenance) with external service providers, such as maintenance companies, contractors, and specialized service providers.

Regulatory Compliance:



Ensure real estate compliance with local, provincial, and federal standards and regulations. Develop and implement procedures to ensure ongoing compliance. Monitor and collaborate on the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program.

Project Management:



Lead asset renovation or optimization projects. Participate in the development of OPEX/CAPEX budgets.

Qualifications:



Hold at least a high school diploma; A vocational diploma in property management or building maintenance is an asset; Excellent team management skills; Thorough knowledge of safety and construction standards and regulations in Quebec; Excellent oral and written communication skills in French; A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position;
