Your Responsibilities:
Please note that this position will require the selected candidate to be in the office daily (Mon-Fri).
We are recruiting for a
Technical Service Representative
with reception responsibilities to join us on the personal and commercial insurance sides of the business. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Providing backup to both RIBO licensed Property and Casualty brokers
Loading information into databases such as incoming forms and verifying certificates of insurance
Drafting letters, e-mails, and other professional communications on behalf of brokers to clients
Digitizing, printing, and filing documents
Reviewing policies of insurance and other documents for accuracy & adequacy
Communicating with insurance companies on behalf of brokers in various capacities, including following up on outstanding client files and other as needed
Some office/and or customer service experience (summer or otherwise)
Proficiency with both Word and Excel and comfortable learning other computer systems (Customer Relation Management).
Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and adapt.
Good time management
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds
Creative problem solver - Can tackle issues differently than typically done in the past
Excellent oral & written language communication skills - ability to draft professional communications and good phone manner.
