About the role:



The Technical Service Representative handles and delegates incoming mail, faxes, and courier services, while preparing outgoing correspondence. They prioritize tasks to meet brokerage service levels, complete insurance transactions, and support sales and service teams by answering calls and attending meetings. The role ensures workflows meet volume and quality expectations.



What you'll be doing:



Handle and delegate incoming mail, faxes, and courier within acceptable service levels. Prepare outgoing correspondence to policyholders and insurance markets and deliver registered letters as required. Delegate email leads to sales and service brokers on a daily basis and provide daily staff update. Manage office inventory, including letterhead, envelopes, supplies, and printer maintenance. Prioritize workload to ensure adherence to brokerage service levels. Participate in team initiatives to support the brokerage and continuously improve productivity, workflows, standards, policy and procedures. Complete new business and service transactions with solid knowledge of automobile and property insurance. Complete any projects or related duties as requested by Management. Answering queue calls and any general questions for current or potential insured's to maintain M.I.B.'s reputation of a consumer-centric, knowledge based, insurance provider. Support sales and service queues when they attend meetings and workshops. Attend and participate in team and brokerage meetings, share information, identify obstacles, and offer solutions. Participate in workflow processes and ensure specific volume requirements and commitments are met. Advise management of any immediate hazards, concerns or issues pertaining to policies, current workflows, associate brokers, etc. Maintain good relationships with all past, present, or potential clients. Keep a healthy rapport with all staff, associate brokers, and carrier partner admin. Perform other related tasks as required.

What we need you to bring:



Minimum College or University level Degree/Undergraduates Degree or comparable experience Experience working in the Insurance Industry Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience working with Broker Management Systems such as EPIC R.I.B.O (Level I) or working towards its completion
