As a Technical Services Installation Specialist, you are a hands on expert responsible for installing, configuring, repairing, and replacing point of sale systems and related equipment. You work from our Toronto office and regularly visit client sites across the Greater Toronto Area, roughly 50 percent of your time.
You are the person clients trust when systems must work, deadlines matter, and precision is non negotiable.
What You Will Do
Install, configure, repair, and replace POS systems and peripherals, both internally and at client locations
+ Clone PCs, Toshiba PCs, touch screens, POS peripherals, self checkouts, ESLs Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and resolve technical issues efficiently
Ensure all work meets internal quality standards and delivers a high level of customer satisfaction
Act as a technical escalation point during complex or high impact incidents
Travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area to client sites
Ship, receive, and track parts sent to and from clients
Monitor delivery timelines and proactively flag delays
Document all work performed using integrated management and tracking software

What We Are Looking For
College diploma in computer science or another relevant field
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
Minimum two years of experience in the point of sale industry
Experience with Salesforce, an asset
Experience with SMS by LOC software, an asset
Experience with Microsoft NAV, an asset
Working knowledge of SQL, an asset
Skills and Qualities
Strong command of English, spoken and written
Mechanically inclined, including self checkout leveling, scale calibration, hardware installation, and modification
Solid technical support knowledge with strong diagnostic abilities
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Strong equipment repair and replacement capabilities
