GEA Separation & Flow Technologies, a division of the global GEA Group, designs and manufactures process engineering components including separators, decanters, homogenizers, valves, and pumps. Our solutions are essential in industries such as food & beverage, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotech, energy, marine, and environmental applications. We are looking for a full-time, permanent Technical Service Advisor! Are you passionate about solving complex technical problems and have a strong background in electromechanical systems? This could be your next big opportunity!
Your responsibilities and tasks:Provides Support to customers, Service sales, Team Leads Regional manager, and service technicians with resolving complex technical issues identified by the service team. Support is provided by phone, Remote support, in person, on site or by email as required; Drive optimal technical service support for the Country including Canada and Caribbean islands in conjunction with global 2nd level support team (Germany); Address all Ticket Desk requests for technical support for the Country including Canada and Caribbean islands; Liaise with engineering colleagues both in US and Germany (Process, electrical and Plc documentation needs etc.); Work in multiple markets and across business units (Dairy, Beverage, Oil &Gas, Pharma, Environmental, Marine Etc.); Diagnose and specify faults, suggest remedial measures, coordinate, and carry out remedial measures; Ability to Upload and download programs to PLC's. Document support request and actions taken with detailed written service reports; Collect, record, and transcribe data within C4C, SAP and CRMoP; All other duties as assigned or directed by management.
Your profile and qualifications:

Technical background, Engineering background, or similar through experience; Previous experience of at least 5 years servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting separators; Specialist knowledge with Separators and Decanters (Training for specific equipment will be provided); Electromechanical troubleshooting skills; Good verbal and written English (report writing skills); Ability to network and build relationships; Strong innovative thinking and change competences; Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills; Takes ownership of work, successes, and mistakes; Effective Listening; Proven communication skills at all levels of the organization; Ability to effectively plan and organize tasks; Strong Time Management; * Travel 30-40 %.
