Technical Sales Representative

WD Industrial Group is an entrepreneurial company with a passion for driving change and innovation. With a strategy for continued growth, WD Industrial is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join their team of high-performing and action-oriented professionals.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative will be an outside sales role primarily responsible for managing HVAC, Plumbing and Waterworks products and customers in Saskatchewan. This includes answering customer questions, product selection, reviewing tenders and producing quotes, and attending tradeshows/events.
As the Technical Sales Representative, you will:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing B2B clients (Wholesalers, Engineers, Architects & Mechanical Contractors).
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
• Host and present product knowledge sessions to existing and potential clients through lunch & learns, including presentations to wholesalers, contractors, and engineers.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to tailor solutions for clients' needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
• Attend tradeshows and represent the brands we carry to existing and potential clients.

You and Your Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years sales experience in a B2B environment with a proven track record of success.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in HVAC & plumbing systems preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record / experience with a CRM.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for client meetings, presentations, and tradeshows.
