Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Technical Sales Representative
to join our Sales Operations Department in our Langley operation. This role plays a key part in achieving business targets through effective sales techniques, strong customer relationships, and consistent follow-through.
While PVF (pipe, valve and fitting) industry experience is an asset, we are primarily looking for someone with 5-7+ years of sales experience, strong business acumen, and experience working with technology and Microsoft programs, as the role involves frequent use of digital tools, product data, and customer systems. Experience with the SPIN Selling sales approach is considered an asset.
Close collaboration with internal partners--purchasing, logistics, and operations--is essential for ensuring seamless sales execution and exceptional customer experiences.
Customer Relations & Sales Growth
Process orders, quotes, returns, and inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
Provide timely responses to customer needs to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Generate new and repeat sales through knowledgeable product support and solution-based selling.
Drive revenue growth through cross-selling, up-selling, and meeting established sales targets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-ups.
Address customer concerns promptly to support high retention.
Product Knowledge & Support
Present accurate pricing, credit terms, and product solutions to customers.
Communicate shipment details and manage customer expectations effectively.
Sales Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed and organized customer files, sales records, and communication logs.
Provide accurate and timely reports on customer interactions and meetings.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products, enhancing customer satisfaction and transaction profitability.
Develop innovative strategies to achieve sales growth and exceed targets.
Utilize company defined selling protocols and processes.
Experience with SPIN Selling or similar consultative sales frameworks is an asset.
Buyouts and Inventory Management
Coordinate buyout activities to ensure product availability and fulfillment of customer requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and work with internal teams to manage stock effectively and reduce delays in meeting customer demand.
Communication with Internal Teams
Collaborate with the supply chain department to align on delivery expectations and demand fluctuations.
Ensure seamless communication and coordination between sales and operations teams.

5-7+ years of sales or account management experience.
Experience in PVF markets or related field is an asset.
