Position Overview:



Longterm Technology Services is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient

Technical Sales Representative

to act as a trusted consultant to our manufacturing and industrial clients. This role is a vital part of our team, focused on driving new business development and revenue growth by identifying client pain points and proposing optimal solutions from our portfolio of Siemens Digital Industries and proprietary software. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to articulate how our solutions for product design, simulation, and data management can create tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities:



Proactive Business Development

Drive new business through revenue-generating activities, including identifying and engaging with prospective clients through outbound calls, emails, and video conferencing. This requires a relentless focus on maintaining forward movement throughout the sales cycle.

Consultative Solution Selling

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, conducting discovery calls to analyze their business processes and technical requirements. Propose comprehensive software solutions that directly address their challenges.

Pipeline and Account Management

Identify new business opportunities, manage a robust sales pipeline, and maintain accurate records of communication and activities within our CRM system. Collaborate with existing clients to identify upselling opportunities and ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with internal technical, engineering, and marketing teams to develop tailored proposals and provide seamless support for all pre-sales and post-sales activities. Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations for our portfolio of Siemens software such as PLM, Tecnomatix, and NX solutions to qualified leads.

Market and Industry Engagement

Stay abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems and peripherals Attend relevant industry conferences and events to network with key players and promote the company's portfolio.

Education and Professional Qualifications



Educational Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field) is highly preferred.

Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years of proven success in a technical sales, solutions consultant, or account executive role, with a focus on manufacturing software, industrial automation, or a related technology vertical. Demonstrated experience with the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing complex deals. Proven proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for managing pipelines and tracking opportunities.

Highly Preferred Skills

Direct experience with or a working knowledge of Siemens PLM software, including NX, Tecnomatix, or Teamcenter. Familiarity with foundational concepts such as Product Data Management (PDM) and Change Management. Possession of relevant industry certifications such as the Certified Technical Sales Professional (CTSP) or the Certified Sales Engineer (CSE).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
