Job Summary:
As a
Technical Sales Representative
specializing in
combustion technologies
, you will play a key role in driving ACI's continued growth and success. This position blends technical expertise with relationship-building and strategic selling, allowing you to apply your knowledge of industrial heating systems and combustion equipment to deliver innovative, high-performing solutions.
You will work directly with
commercial, industrial, and government clients
to understand their needs, develop customized system recommendations, and provide solutions that enhance performance, safety, and energy efficiency.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Generate Sales Leads:
Identify and solicit new business from potential clients in various market segments such as oil and gas, manufacturing, automotive, ferrous and non-ferrous metals and building services.
Assess Client Needs:
Consult with existing and prospective clients to understand their technical and operational requirements, such as efficiency, emissions, and safety
Recommend Technical Solutions:
Propose and demonstrate how specific combustion products - such as burners, and control systems - can meet the customer's needs and provide value.
Provide Technical Support:
Act as the technical liaison for the client, assisting with pre-sales and post-sales inquiries, and troubleshooting equipment-related issues
Prepare and Present Proposals:
Develop sales presentations, proposals, and contracts that detail the technical and financial benefits of the recommended solution.
Manage Sales Contracts:
Administer sales contracts, negotiate terms and conditions, prices, and handle client accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
Keep Current on Industry Trends:
Stay informed on new products, technologies, and market trends to effectively explain product features and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Industrial Combustion, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Industrial Combustion field
Knowledge of control systems used in Industrial Combustion (Siemens, Honeywell, Fireye, etc.)
Knowledge of components used in machines in an industrial process is an asset.
Strong working knowledge of current office software (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Strong attention to detail is essential
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Ability to negotiate prices, terms of sale, and service agreements effectively.
Capacity to analyze customer problems and creatively identify the right solutions
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long term satisfaction and loyalty
Professional and friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
