This is a full-time, on-site position located in Guelph, ON. The Salesperson will be responsible for a territory consisting of an existing customer base and opportunity to develop new customers. You will be providing product and/or technical knowledge and value-added support. Daily tasks include managing sales pipelines, conducting meetings with potential customers, achieving sales targets, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively present and demonstrate products to customers
Experience with strategic planning and meeting sales goals
Self-motivation, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
Knowledge of the manufacturing or tooling industry is an asset
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to meet clients
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus
Requirements
No sales experience necessary, however a strong machining background is preferred
Provide timely, technical support and problem resolution for customers.
Support customers with processes and applications
Work with Vendors and customers in evaluating and selecting products.
Create and execute product test opportunities, documents test progress and report results.
Recommend products that meets the customers needs.
