All equipment is capital equipment, and our target customers are medium-to-large multinationals. We have a strong local service/support/parts team based out of our Burlington, Ontario office servicing customers our across Canada.

Abbey is seeking an energetic, self-motivated and industrious sales representative to build on an existing customer base as well as develop new business opportunities. Territory and product lines will vary depending on your location, qualifications and experience. The job entails promoting and selling inspection equipment, packaging machinery and/or processing machinery to the food, produce and pharmaceutical industries. We seek an industrious sales representative to build on an existing customer base as well as develop new business opportunities.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Sales Representative. Responsibilities include identifying and engaging potential clients, managing customer accounts, and promoting technical solutions from the company's portfolio. The role involves providing product demonstrations, facilitating customer training, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and communication. The representative will also collaborate with internal and external teams to develop tailored solutions for each client's unique needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Technical Sales and Sales, with the ability to develop and execute targeted sales strategies. Exceptional Customer Service and Communication skills, ensuring strong client relationships and effective collaboration. Excellent oral and written communication skills Bilingual (English/French) for the Quebec market. Italian, German or Spanish an asset. Knowledge of packaging, inspection, and processing solutions is highly advantageous. Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience in a related field is preferred. Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals, with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. High level of technical aptitude for communicating with professional engineers and plant managers. Willingness to travel within Eastern Ontario and a valid driver's license. Good negotiating skills, highly customer focused AutoCAD experience is a definite asset

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
