Kobitex is looking to hire a Technical Sales Account Executive. In this role they will drive business development for our various chemical products as well as build new relationships with various customers across an array of applications and industries. This individual would be based in our downtown Toronto offices.

Technical Sales Account Executive
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential new customers through direct outreach, partnerships, and market intelligence
Support your customer and their various internal teams with technical level discussions as needed
Prepare and maintain various technical documentation as required for internal and customer uses
Support necessary technical document development and registrations processes required for industry and regulatory bodies
Manage end-to-end sales process and grow a pipeline of leads through CRM tools and sales tracking with focus on closing deals
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key accounts ensuring successful and fruitful outcomes
Monitor and assess the market and your key industry verticals and competitive activity
Build sales plans and account plans to meet sales objectives and unlock new opportunities for growth
Ensure appropriate data capture and documentation of all business engagement in the local CRM system
Support various Customer Request for Proposals from issuance to completion
Represent Kobitex at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and establish thought leadership in the space
Role Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a focus on Chemistry, Engineering or comparable discipline
Experience in the chemical or industrial supplier/distribution business, preferably in a sales role capacity
Strong attention to detail, as well as critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
Solid working knowledge and experience utilizing Microsoft Office 365 various applications
Strong ability to take complex technical or business discussions and simplify them for communication with new and existing customers
Experience using a major CRM Software tool is an asset
English proficiency a must. French, Spanish, and/or Portuguese a nice to have
Experience with customer and vendor negotiations
Full time role, in office 5 days a week at our Downtown Toronto office
Some customer travel will be required
