As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Technical Records Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
As an Aircraft Technical Records Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of our aircraft maintenance activities. You will work closely with our maintenance manager and collaborate with various departments to ensure the seamless flow of inventory management, invoicing, shipping, receiving, and other related tasks. Your dedication to precision and your ability to work in a dynamic aviation environment will contribute to the overall success of our company. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain comprehensive and accurate technical records of all aircraft maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
Ensure that all maintenance documentation adheres to regulatory requirements and company standards.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to update maintenance logs, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives promptly.
Conduct regular audits of aircraft records to verify completeness and accuracy.
Oversee inventory control and management, including the procurement and disposal of aircraft parts and materials.
Generate and process invoices for maintenance services rendered to internal and external customers.
Facilitate shipping and receiving activities related to aircraft parts and materials.
Assist in tracking and monitoring the status of aircraft components sent for repair or overhaul.
Work closely with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections related to aircraft records.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the maintenance manager to support the smooth operation of the maintenance department.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional aviation-related education or training is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively within a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred:
Proven experience in aircraft technical records management and familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., CARS, FAA, EASA).
Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance software and inventory management systems.
Familiarity with invoicing processes and shipping/receiving procedures.
Knowledge of aircraft parts and materials.
