Job Summary:



Technical Records Clerk reports directly to the Technical Records Manager. Responsible for managing the Technical Records department, audits work packages from the Maintenance Department, updates the maintenance tracking software, helps to facilitate effective and efficient processes for data management.



Qualifications and Requirements:



Post- Secondary Education 2 years experience in Data Control, Records Audit Experience in Document Audit an asset An equivalent combination of Education and Experience will be considered Flexible, with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to details Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize tasks Motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable transportation Security clearances Legally eligible to work in Canada Current Criminal Record Check and Adult Abuse Registry Indigenous Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training considered an asset

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



Timely and accurate data updating of records and tracking software Ensuring continuing airworthiness of aircraft and leading to effective maintenance planning, aircraft safety and organization's effective functioning. Review journey logbook pages for all aircraft and ensure all logbook parameters are correct Update aircraft technical records (including but not limited to aircraft technical records) Update component tracking as per maintenance entries Audit aircraft records for accuracy and adherence to policies and procedure Follow up with maintenance crew on all corrections and/or missing documentation Ensure the aircraft maintenance forecast always remains up to data Maintain archiving system by ensuring all documents are accurate and complete

Working Conditions:



Office setting: May involve working with both physical and digital records. Schedule: 8 hours per day - Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Tools & Equipment: Computers, scanners, filing systems and specialized software for records management. Physical Demands: Light physical activity such as lifting file boxes, prolonged periods of sitting and repetitive tasks like data entry. Interaction: Regular communication with other departments, clients or regulatory bodies to ensure accuracy and compliance records
