We currently have an opportunity available for a Technical Records Clerk - Part Time. Reporting to the Controller Planner, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Allow the Technical Records Dept. to adhere to Transport Canada technical record entry requirements i.e. entries made within 30 days of completed maintenance.
  • Filing of log sheets work orders, parts certificates and related maintenance documents.
  • Preparation of billing documents, labour tabulation, and fleet hours.
  • Support for future growth of fleetInput aircraft times and maintenance man-hours (timesheets)
  • Assist the Controller/Planner with tracking, planning, and recording maintenance activities.
  • Update technical logbook information in WinAir
  • Prepare (transcribe and compile) technical logbook entries
  • Scanning and copying of maintenance documents, and insertion for computer access
  • Perform other administrative tasks as requested.
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

  • Completion of High School
  • Must be computer literate and feel comfortable working with computers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail is required
  • Good organizational skills
  • Reasonable typing speed, with emphasis on accuracy. (The technical terminology and use of acronyms, numbers and abbreviations can be demanding).
  • Proper spelling and use of the English language is imperative
  • Adhere to the safety accountabilities as per Sunwest\xe2\x80\x99s Safety Management System.
