JOB OVERVIEW
In this role, the Technical Project Manager (TPM) will play a pivotal part in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional development initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring teams remain aligned, productive, and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes. They will provide consistent, transparent communication to project stakeholders, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the development organization. The TPM will work closely with the Director of Technology and other technical leaders, contributing directly to the efficiency, delivery velocity, and overall success of Cold Bore Technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee end-to-end execution of software development projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards.
Manage the day-to-day software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, refinement, sprint execution, and release coordination.
Maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and status reports to ensure transparency across teams and stakeholders.
Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
Champion Agile best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the development teams.
Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing ownership, accountability, and high performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
3 to 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, or similar role within a software development environment
Strong understanding of SDLC processes, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and software delivery best practices
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex development projects
Excellent communication and organization skills
Experience in industrial IoT, real-time systems, oil & gas technology or enterprise SaaS platforms
Technical background in software engineering, systems engineering, or related discipline
Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and APIs
Experience supporting technology deployments in field, industrial, or operational environments
