Cold Bore Technology has built a standard platform that will create, collect, and structure independent data sources into a format that is consumable and consistent for the end user. Our proprietary software enables competitive service companies to communicate on the same platform without compromising the integrity or confidentiality of there own data to optimize operations for the benefit of the participating E&P operator.

We work with a number of departments within our partners organizations to help solution their current data and operational issues. These issues range from efficiency gains, data pipelines, integration of custom software solutions, data storage solutions, data streaming services, data health, communication up-time, general data structure and data analysis. Our customers receive support from our multi-disciplined team on all their custom projects and their normal day to day operations.

JOB OVERVIEW

In this role, the Technical Project Manager (TPM) will play a pivotal part in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional development initiatives. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring teams remain aligned, productive, and focused on delivering high-quality outcomes. They will provide consistent, transparent communication to project stakeholders, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the development organization. The TPM will work closely with the Director of Technology and other technical leaders, contributing directly to the efficiency, delivery velocity, and overall success of Cold Bore Technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee end-to-end execution of software development projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards. Manage the day-to-day software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, refinement, sprint execution, and release coordination. Maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, and status reports to ensure transparency across teams and stakeholders. Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain delivery momentum. Champion Agile best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the development teams. Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing ownership, accountability, and high performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

3 to 5+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, or similar role within a software development environment Strong understanding of SDLC processes, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and software delivery best practices Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex development projects Excellent communication and organization skills Experience in industrial IoT, real-time systems, oil & gas technology or enterprise SaaS platforms Technical background in software engineering, systems engineering, or related discipline Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and APIs Experience supporting technology deployments in field, industrial, or operational environments
