Technical Project Manager

to join our team at Delco Automation headquarters. This individual will be responsible ensuring the successful execution of projects, understanding Delco's suite of projects, and ensuring customer success. Only applicants from Saskatoon, SK will be considered.

Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of projects, including quoting, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, safety and quality control. Assist in developing and maintaining schedules for active projects using Microsoft Project. Prepare detailed cost estimates for project pricing and administration Regularly assist with on-site commissioning, training, and provision of technical support. Review and finalize material and equipment lists and construction schedules for projects. Analyze operating data for the determination of satisfactory performance. Provide support and assistance to end users for the application of various technologies. Assist with the development of in-house project management processes and procedures as required. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Report and escalate to management as needed. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Communicate with Delco Team to ensure the project's success. Review and interpretation of electrical drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, and mechanical drawings. Compliance of Delco Security Health and Safety program - Uphold safe work practices and participate in developing and maintaining our culture of safety. Care and maintenance of all corporate assets. Use the Delco Nucleus application. Manage multiple projects at the same time throughout the entire lifecycle. Successfully manage project scope and budget. Build and maintain great client relationships through ongoing communication and understanding of client goals. Manage resource assignments and utilization. Ensure technical reviews are completed using expertise and provide recommendations for improvements. Participate in meetings and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders. Manage teams programming, manufacturing a variety of PLCs, HMIs, SCADAs.

Required



3+ years of progressive success of engineering experience in automation environments, or water treatment processes. Expertise in the use of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Project) Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or ability and willingness to attain. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences or Certified Engineering Technologist or Registered Engineering Technologist designation. Valid driver's license required. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts. Strong computer and networking skills desired. Attention to detail. Previous experience managing and executing projects. Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer relationship skills. Ability to manage a fast paced and heavy workload. Strong troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.

Strong business acumen with ability to prioritize and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). PLC and HMI programming knowledge and experience in the automation industry is an asset. Water treatment design or commissioning knowledge and experience is an asset.
