Position Summary

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing technical projects related to concrete durability, repair, and waterproofing solutions. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in concrete technology, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Ensure projects are executed within scope, timeline, and quality expectations.

Technical Oversight & Coordination

Work closely with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to drive technical projects. Oversee lab testing and validation of concrete solutions as part of project execution. Support product development, testing, and troubleshooting of concrete waterproofing and repair technologies. Ensure all technical documentation, specifications, and reports are maintained.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for project status updates and technical discussions. Provide clear, concise reports and presentations to internal teams and external partners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in project management within construction, concrete, or manufacturing industries. Strong understanding of concrete technology and construction practices. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong technical writing and presentation skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

Nice to Have:

Canadian work experience preferred. PMP or P.Eng certification. Fluency in French, English, or German is an asset. Membership or involvement in concrete repair groups/associations (ICRI, ACI). Certifications in concrete lab testing or related areas.

Compensation, Benefits, and Total Rewards

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000

The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience, knowledge and skills they bring to Xypex. While the expected salary range is $90,000 - $120,000, we may consider a different amount depending on the experience, knowledge, and skills of the successful candidate.
