What to Expect


We're looking for a driven, hands-on Technical Project Manager to join our team and help build the next generation of high-speed, automated manufacturing equipment that powers Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. In this role, you'll lead complex, cross-functional projects from concept through build--owning every detail from scope and schedule to budget and execution. You'll collaborate with world-class engineers and technicians to bring cutting-edge automation to life, driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence at every stage.

What You'll Do

Drive end-to-end execution of machine development and build projects from concept through production handover Define and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource plans Serve as the key liaison across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication Coordinate internal and external reviews including FMEA, risk assessments, and project milestones Oversee equipment procurement, logistics, and installation activities including Site Acceptance Testing Monitor and report on project performance, proactively addressing risks to cost, schedule, and quality Support compliance, documentation, and system package preparation for all machine builds





What You'll Bring

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience PMP certification or equivalent project management training 4+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or automation environments Strong understanding of machine build processes and automated equipment systems including robotics, vision, conveyors, PLCs, and HMIs Proficient in Microsoft Project and the full Microsoft Office suite Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, eDrawings, and Bluebeam Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills with flexibility to travel internationally
