We manufacture "machines that can see" quality defects in manufactured goods for the metal fabrication industry. We offer an unusual opportunity where you will apply your technical and project management talents critical to the on-time delivery of multiple projects, involving our unique welding inspection cameras. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining regulatory compliance for our products.
Your Challenge in this role will be to:
Ensure comprehensive project documentation to reflect project scope. Develop and coordinate project schedules and efforts with Engineering specialties. Monitor project progress and roadblocks; identify alternative directions where appropriate. Provide technical direction and actively participate in the development process where appropriate. Assist design engineers with sourcing and purchasing activities. Facilitate kick-off meetings, design reviews, post-completion project reviews. Ensure ongoing product regulatory compliance including generation of compliance reports, monitoring our supply chain, etc.
Success in this role requires:
Completion of a post-secondary program in a technical discipline. Experience in hands-on technical project management ideally in an entrepreneurial setting, with a proven project portfolio. Proficiency in both verbal and written English to manage activities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
