Lead the Cloud Operation department and administer acquisition-related activities
Technical understanding of the infrastructure, datacenter, Vendor Rationalization, Telecom, and Datacom terminology
Focus on delivering value to OpenText through developing integration strategies, completion of due diligence, and post-close integration management
Develop and execute the integration strategy and plans for acquisitions
Frame infrastructure negotiation strategy and lead negotiations; responsible for the final agreed upon deal terms (in concert with technology teams)
Ensure efficient and effective due diligence processes across Infrastructure disciplines
Maintain/enhance integration approach/checklist; partner with the business teams to ensure plans are executed, conduct lookbacks and incorporate lessons learned
Be a strategic partner with cross-functional OpenText staff at all stages of the deal to define and execute upon integration details critical for acquisition success
Effectively monitor department cost optimization goals and communicate performance updates to the executive or leadership team
Manage to consolidate external service providers including diligence advisors, M& A consultants, and valuation specialists
Review definitive agreements to ensure the department\'s positions, in particular positions on financial matters, are adequately reflected
Manage vendor, facilities, and datacenters consolidations plan in coordination with finance, controllership, tax, legal and other functions
Complete post-sale projection plans to provide feedback and recommendations for future optimization projects
Duties encompass the entire merger and acquisition life cycle including operational and strategic aspects across workforce planning, cost efficiency, development, talent management, performance management, organizational change, onboarding, and engagement
Responsible for ensuring that internal M& A processes and standards are adhered to
Communicate the adopted plan with Finance, Procurement, & Service Delivery Arms to ensure that proper protocols and processes are followed and adhered to in a timely manner for each transaction
