Our Capacity Building and Innovation (CBI) Team is looking for a Technical Learning Curator to join them. Are you looking for a new challenge? The Technical Learning Curator is responsible for shaping the quality and relevance of technical learning experiences across a diverse range of audiences based on current and future needs of Canadian industry as they adopt emerging technologies to ensure they remain globally competitive. Programs span the entire talent development pipeline to build workforce capacity in digital skills for high school students, university students, professionals seeking to upskill, new immigrants to Canada, and business owners, as well as resources for Canadian companies to support the adoption of emerging technologies.



The Technical Learning Curator will support ICTC with the setup, management, monitoring, and coordination of digital learning experiences across ICTC's programs. The learning curator will work with the program teams and provide learner progress and status reporting to program management. The technical learning curator will also assist with other program-related activities such as working with external partners, and outreach as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emerging technologies, experience in industry leading digital transformation projects, and a passion for education and curriculum design.

Key Responsibilities





Content Review & Curation + Evaluate and curate third-party and in-house technical curriculum for various learning programs.
+ Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and tailored to the needs of different target audiences.
+ Align content with current industry standards and emerging technologies.
Audience-Centric Design + Adapt content for different learner profiles, including youth, post-secondary students, professionals, newcomers, and entrepreneurs based on industry needs and labour market information.
+ Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure accessibility and inclusivity.
+ Creating documents as needed to support delivery of the program.
Experiential Learning Design + Identify opportunities to incorporate experiential learning on emerging technologies such as AI/ML, quantum computing, and cloud computing into curriculum.
+ Highlight practical applications of these technologies in business process automation and real-world scenarios.
Quality Assurance + Maintain consistency in tone, structure, and learning outcomes across all curated content.
+ Conduct periodic reviews and updates to ensure content remains current and impactful.
Collaboration + Work closely with program managers, educators, and industry partners to align content with strategic goals.
+ Provide insights and recommendations for new content development based on market trends and learner feedback.
Learning Coordination Managing the Learner enrollments into learning management platforms. Scheduling, organizing, and on-boarding learners for courses. Providing administrative support and documentation in collaboration with the team. Running reports to track Learner's progress in courses on various platforms. Other duties as assigned by management.



Do you have the following knowledge





Minimum of two years' experience in training. Experience with utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS). Experience with technologies related include but not limited to AWS, Azure, SQL, Networking, Dev/Ops, and Computer Programming. Knowledge of a variety of instructional media including instructor-led, online, and virtual instructor-led training. Verbal and written proficiency in both official languages.


What we are looking for





Post-Secondary Education degree or diploma. 3+ years of experience in industry, preferably in a technical or engineering role. Demonstrated experience in technical course curation, curriculum design, instructional design, or teaching technical subjects, or as a trainer, adult educator, career practitioner. Strong working knowledge of ICT systems, tech terminology, and digital technology education. Strong understanding of emerging technologies including AI/ML, quantum computing, and cloud platforms. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, or similar productivity tool. Strong attention to detail when creating, reviewing, and delivering content. Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills. Experience working with diverse audiences and tailoring content to meet varied learning needs. Ability to work cross-functionally with different team members. Drive and discipline; ability to prioritize and complete necessary tasks, while seeking creative opportunities for business and personal growth and development. Preferred: +

- Ability to review and curate content in both official languages (English and French).
+ Familiarity with Canadian education and workforce development ecosystems.
+ Knowledge of business process automation and its applications in small and medium enterprises.
