ATCO is seeking an outstanding team member to join us as our Technical Lead, Site Reliability Engineering SRE. You will work directly with cross-functional teams including development, product management, operations, security, and our customers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring reliable system performance.


What Else You Get To Do




Establish SRE best practices for automation, monitoring, response and system reliability to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Define service level objectives and key performance indicators, then execute strategies for effective system operation. Prioritize incidents, features, and reliability improvements, balancing technical debt with product development. Develop, implement and maintain scalable solutions to ensure system uptime and performance. Lead the adoption of new technologies and practices to enhance reliability and efficiency. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the reliability and performance of new features and services. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and reliability issues. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on system health and reliability metrics.

Who You Are:




Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and or equivalent work experience is preferred Business mindset with very good numerical & analytical skills, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, creating efficiencies and economies of scale Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational and planning skills and an improvement-focused mind able to challenge the norm 8+ years of system management and Site Reliability Engineering and Software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building software solutions : + Cloud platforms, specifically GCP, Azure and Oracle Cloud
+ Working with monitoring and observability tools, specifically Dynatrace would be considered an asset
+ Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines
+ DevOps practices
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with team members, customers, colleagues, vendors and practically anyone else you meet. Well-honed people skills and business finesse are essential. In depth understanding of Agile methodologies Communication skills are critical. Both verbal and written communication skills will be essential in producing the results required for the role. Project management and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task. Experience coding in one of the following languages: Javascript, Python, and/or Java Proven experience leading and mentoring technical teams
