The Opportunity

We're looking for a

Technical Lead

to take ownership of our technology roadmap as we scale deployments across clinical environments. You'll be responsible for the architecture, development, and security of our AR-enabled virtual care platform--working directly with healthcare teams to turn complex workflows into elegant, reliable software.

You'll collaborate with the executive team and clinical advisors to guide the evolution of our core platform, and shape the technical direction of a company building the future of remote healthcare.

What You'll Do

Lead design and development across backend, frontend, and infrastructure. Own deployment of secure, real-time media solutions (LiveKit / WebRTC). Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker Compose, Linux). Manage integrations with hospital systems (Active Directory, SAML, PACS, HL7/FHIR). Oversee DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and versioned Docker environments. Translate clinical and operational needs into technical specifications. Ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance (PHIPA, ISO 27001). Recruit and mentor future engineering hires. Contribute code, review pull requests, and lead by example.

What You Bring

3+ years of full-stack or backend development experience. Proficiency with

Python

real-time communication frameworks

(LiveKit, OpenVidu). Familiarity with

healthcare data standards

frameworks (HIPAA/PHIPA). Strong communication skills--comfortable engaging directly with clinicians and partners. Ability to balance hands-on coding with system-level thinking and planning.

Nice to Have

Experience with AR/VR SDKs or connected device integration (BLE, cameras). Exposure to ISO 13485 or other regulated medical software environments. Prior startup or scale-up experience where you've built something from scratch.
