We are looking for systems engineers with UAS command and control experience to join the Aircraft Systems Architecture Development and Integration Team.

In your role, you will

• Act as UAS Architect in the Aircraft Systems Architecture Development and Integration Team in the context of advanced product development activities.
• Support for UAS Level development plan and associated development assurance activities.
• Lead the UAS and sub-system level architecture and associated UAS level requirements.
• Be responsible for sizing for systems elements and their application.
• Perform UAS and sub-system level tradeoffs that lead to the definition of the product configuration and architecture.
• Be responsible for oversight of the UAS and sub-system level Validation & Verification activities from the definition to the execution including the associated documentation.
• Be responsible for the UAS and sub-system level certification and safety activities and generation of the associated artifacts for the field of responsibility. Need to provide lead role for cross domain/function certification subjects.
• Lead cross system integration activities including UAS and sub-system level integration activities (ex: Build Plan and V&V Harmonization).
• Lead and coordinate the PR investigation and resolution process for UAS and sub-system level issues.
• Coordinate UAS and sub-system level change management process (cross functional issues) and associated build plan (including V&V regression activities).
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams: aerodynamics, structure design, systems architecture, etc.
• Liaise with suppliers, internal and external.
• Provide visibility to management as needed.

As our ideal candidate

• You have a bachelor\'s degree in mechanical/aerospace/mechatronics engineering.
• You have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in avionic or flight control systems development, integration and certification.
• You are open minded, curious, rigorous and methodical. You wish to develop your systems engineering capabilities.
• You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork and support knowledge sharing amongst team members.
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You approach problem solving with a holistic view.
• You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.
