Job Description

The Technical Evaluator plays a crucial role in the success of projects by working closely with customers. They validate project specifications using calculations and measurements; analyzes technical and financial constraints; and anticipates project risks.

YOUR PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform various calculations, designs, and reports to validate project feasibility based on customer requirements and standards. Interpret results and participate in the development of technical solutions with a view to continuous improvement. Perform geometric analyses using CAD tools. Make recommendations to guide the customer in their design development with the automotive manufacturer's studio, which is their customer. Be available for support/assistance via teleconference (WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Zoom, etc.). Provide technical support for the feasibility web portal. Provide all relevant information for obtaining the contract and starting internal work. Support and guide representatives abroad; Communicate constantly with customers.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

College Degree in mechanical engineering; other technical degree will be considered; Bilinguism (French and English), spoken and written. Assets: a third language knowledge : Spanish, German, Japanese or Mandarin Good command of computer tools and knowledge of at least one CAD tool. * Assets: knowledge of or interest in automotive design, plastics, molding by injection and optics.
