Your Opportunity:The Medical Physics team at the Cross Cancer Institute invites applications for a temporary Technical Equipment Officer (Biomedical Equipment Technologist) with excellent service and troubleshooting skills to help maintain the biomedical equipment used throughout the Institute. You will work as a member of a small service team and will perform a wide range of activities such as troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, testing, calibrating, installing, and performing preventative maintenance, incoming and safety inspections, upgrades, quality assurance and risk management activities. Accurate record keeping plus good communication and collaborative work with team members are required.Description:As a Technical Equipment Officer (TEO), you will be responsible for managing a variety of complex medical radiation therapy systems and related quality control equipment. You will perform a wide range of equipment activities such as troubleshooting, installation, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration, safety inspections, upgrades, quality assurance, and risk management activities.
