Sleep Clinic Technical Director

We have a great career opportunity for someone looking to join a growing team of health professionals. We are actively recruiting a Sleep Clinic Technical Director to oversee our clinical operations in Ontario. This is a full-time position and requires someone who is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT).

Responsibilities:

• Managing the clinical operations and Technologist team by adhering to all technical processes, protocols, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Scheduling technical staff.
• Addressing general technical questions from the team.
• Training and coaching the team in including providing performance and QA feedback.
• Conducting MSLT/MWTs, scoring sleep studies and ensuring scoring is completed by those assigned to.
• Maintaining good appearance and supplies of the lab.
• Planning and participating in meetings such as regular technical and QA meetings.
• Fostering and overseeing quality and suggesting ideas that continuously improve quality.
• Working seamlessly with the Administrative team to ensure overall efficiency.
• This role is also available for calls outside regular business hours as needed. Typical examples of this include questions from Technologists working in the evenings.
• This role is five (5) days per week, in lab with some flexibility to work from home.

Qualifications:

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), with 3+ years of experience in the field.
• Experience with Sandman, Alice G3, Compumedics, and Natus.
• Experience using an EMR system (Accuro).
• Experience with pediatric sleep medicine.
• Experience leading a team of people and managing a sleep clinic.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and ability to work independently.
• A focus on high quality patient care and enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge.

Salary starting at $75,000 per annum.
