About The Team



Technical Consultants provide critical solution and domain knowledge to Financial Services clients. This is often associated with but not restricted to the implementation and operation of the NetReveal solution.


The successful candidate will work in the Professional Services team as a Technical Consultant with our clients in the Financial Services sector. They will be an independent thinking problem solver able to consult on, design and implement a range of solutions across, our Financial Services product line.


About The Role



This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in industry leading Financial Services solutions and to work with our flagship suite of compliance and counter fraud products called NetReveal. These products are rapidly gaining market dominance in the detection and prevention of financial crime and fraud. You will have the opportunity to work on NetReveal product implementation and integrate enterprise solutions with blue chip clients. :
Key Responsibilities
  • Deploying and integrating enterprise solutions including:
  • Configuration of the software and supporting applications
  • Design and development of custom extensions, to provide required integrations or functionality
  • Responding to and leading resolution of technical issues
  • Adhering to and enhancing software development approaches and methodologies
  • Applying and developing leading edge analytical methods, including data mining techniques and social network analysis
  • Ability to self-manage in delivering high quality work product to meet project expectations within deadlines.
  • Going beyond routine questioning to find the underlying causes of problems or discrepancies to identify problems and develop sound solutions
  • Tracking and reporting development progress to Team lead
  • Ability to work with other members of teams in a collaborative manner

Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics or closely related field
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 professional experience as a strong individual contributor in a team in enterprise-wide software deliveries using an SDLC delivery framework (Waterfall or Agile)
  • Hands on experience in the following:
    • Languages: Java, Python, Scala (working knowledge of at least 1 is required. Other OOP languages may be considered)
    • Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL (Strong knowledge of SQL concepts and procedural language constructs in 1 is a must. Other DBMS such SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2 may be considered)
    • J2EE Application Servers: JBoss EAP, IBM WebSphere (familiarity in at least 1 is required)
    • Messaging and Streams: JMS and Kafka
    • Scripting: Linux/Unix and shell scripting (must be comfortable working in linux based environments)
    • Source Control Tools (SVN, GIT of equivalent)
  • Ability to provide hands-on support to test team during QA cycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel when necessary to meet client needs

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in financial services insurance industry such as Banks, Payment providers, MSB, Clearinghouse, Insurance
  • Knowledge of CI/CD Tools and Pipeline
  • Cloud providers \xe2\x80\x93 AWS, Azure
  • Experience with XSLT, XML, or JavaScript
  • Data Analytics/Mining: Using SAS, R, Python - Experience handling, processing, and analyzing large data sources. Knowledge of statistics and predictive modelling
  • Database design
  • Any Technical or domain certification
