We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Machine Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing and maintenance sectors. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning essential skills in machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting within a dynamic industrial environment.

Duties

Assist in the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Learn to troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Support the implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. Gain experience in industrial electrical work, including low voltage systems. Participate in HVAC system maintenance and repairs. Assist with welding tasks as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Learn to read and interpret schematics for electrical and mechanical systems. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams or external clients.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical knowledge with a strong interest in industrial maintenance and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with electrical systems; prior electrical experience is a plus. Understanding of HVAC systems is desirable. Experience or coursework related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is beneficial. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not required. Ability to analyze problems effectively and propose solutions. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A commitment to safety practices within an industrial setting.
