This project includes many global business lines to improve capabilities of data protection for subsidiaries.
Two local Technical Local Coordinators contractors are required to support data identification and documentation, residual risk assessment, access reduction, and enhancements to data loss prevention controls for bulk sensitive data at MD Financial and JFL subsidiaries. This support is specifically for deliverables #2, #3, #6, and #7.

Typical Day in Role:
Build and create and manage policies all across data loss prevention for the Bank
Work with various teams on creating policies, working with vendors to bring in updates on infrastructure
Working with large software products such as Trellix, Forcepoint, Broadcom, Zscaler, GCP, Proofpoint, Big ID and Microsoft
The work is specific to DLP and the candidate will work collaboratively with other teams to support data protection objectives
The main function of an IT Security Analyst is to plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for information systems to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information
The candidate will be planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database
Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
4+ years of experience in IT Security Analyst or Cybersecurity Role
2+ years of combined experience in these DLP technologies: McAfee/ Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, (these 3 preferred); Symantec DLP is an acceptable replacement
2+ years of experience monitoring or investigating DLP incidents directly in application or console
3+ years of experience with end user troubleshooting - someone with desktop support, or troubleshooting reporting, preferably using Windows
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced knowledge in Excel)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Experience from Banking/Financial Institutions
Experience in international regulatory and compliance frameworks
Experience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability testing and auditing
Experience with Automation, APIs, and SaaS services
Microsoft Active Directory and file server/ directory experience
Cloud Security and DLP experience
Applicable security certifications (McAfee/ Trellix, Proofpoint, Zscaler, or similar)
Soft Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
Must be reliable, proactive, results-oriented, customer-focused and attentive to details.
Must be flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment, make quick and sound decisions under pressure
Strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

The ideal candidate will have worked on data protection (data loss prevention) projects in the past and would have strong experience with the security tools listed.
