What You\'ll Do In This Role

• Partner with our Finance, business and & Engineering teams to help measure and manage cloud infrastructure costs.
• Develop and champion cloud cost management best practices.
• Create cloud benchmarks and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s to drive improvement initiatives
• Work with cross-functional teams providing services in the cloud to define forecasts and budgets for opex growth and project/program planning.
• Partner with our Finance team to increase cost allocation & accounting accuracy.
• Develop an understanding of how our major cloud vendors (such as GCP/AWS/Azure) and analyze these associated costs.
• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud service consumption
• Perform period-over-period analysis on consumption monitoring trends, track and validate cost optimization efforts, and identify opportunities for savings.
• Plan, forecast, manage, and track the inventory of cloud service reservations to ensure effective consumption against all commitments
• Support cross-functional teams consuming cloud services to understand issues in spend and opportunities for savings and best practices around consumption of cloud services.
• Maintain relationships with the cloud service providers to gain support and insights and for opportunities for cost optimization.
• Setup, maintain, and manage automated alerting for product budgets.
• Work with Cloud and DevOps teams to ensure financial attribution tagging policies are strictly enforced.
• Perform ad-hoc Cloud consumption analysis as required.
• Create actionable, concise, and presentable data visualizations.
• Develop analytical models to provide data-driven guidance on cloud infrastructure spend.
• Develop utilization/forecasting models to predict future outcomes of cloud infrastructure spend and usage.
• Explain trends from data sources and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Interface with leaders to provide timely, accurate and relevant data.

• Clear and concise communication, able to convey complex business logic, and analytical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Experience in multi-cloud management tooling such as CloudHealth
• Experience with performance and optimization problems at scale, demonstrate ability to diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Confidentiality in handling sensitive organizational information.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to thrive in a fully remote organization.
