Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia\xe2\x80\x99s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

What you will learn and contribute to

On February 26, 2023, Nokia has launched its new brand story to unlock the next phase of growth for Nokia. The aim is to get our company known for what we already are: a B2B technology innovation leader. We are pioneering the future where networks meet cloud. Our new visual system will get our brand recognized. It\xe2\x80\x99s holistic, bright and dynamic, carefully constructed to ensure that all our assets and communications stand out and are instantly recognizable as coming from Nokia. The new palette, consisting of a full set of primary colors, is eye-catching and energetic and gradient shades are great for ensuring type legibility and clarity. New icons are designed to complement the Nokia Pure typeface.

It is now important that the Nokia Quality Management System (QMS) including key process documents is transferred to the new brand so that these important documents reflect what Nokia stand for.

We are looking for a summer term hire to execute the transfer of all key QMS and CREATE process documents (mostly MS Powerpoint, Word or Excel) to the new brand style offering the opportunity to learn about the structure of a QMS in a global company.

As part of our team, you will:

• Apply Nokia\'s new brand standard to NI Quality documentation & Enterprise Intranet presences
• Design / build / Automate Quality Templates (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Design & Publish Nokia Enterprise level communications for NI Quality Programs

What is Nokia looking for from me

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or diploma in Technical Writing / Tech, Document Publishing from an accredited school in Canada.

You have:

• Experience in working with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Understanding of use of templates, masters, and layouts.
• Understanding of the use of SharePoint for document management.
• Interest in applying a brand design to various types of documents
• Skill set & creativity to apply Nokia branding to design efficient & effective communications.

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience with automation of document design templates / updates
• Graphical Design & Web Publishing Experience
• Site Design with MS SharePoint
