About the job you're considering




We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Technical Architect to join our innovative PLM team in Canada.

Your Role



Lead the design and architecture of robust, scalable, and secure Teamcenter PLM solutions across various modules and integrations. Define the technical roadmap and strategy for Teamcenter, aligning it with the overall IT and business objectives. Develop architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and design documents for Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to implementation teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Evaluate new Teamcenter features, technologies, and third-party tools to determine their applicability and impact on the existing architecture. Ensure the performance, reliability, and maintainability of the Teamcenter system through architectural decisions and technical governance. Collaborate with business analysts and Solution Architect to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs. Oversee the integration strategy for Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, CAD tools). Conduct technical reviews and audits of Teamcenter configurations, customizations, and developments. Mentor and provide technical guidance to development teams.

Your Skills and Experience



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 10+ years specializing in Teamcenter PLM implementations and architecture. Deep expertise in Teamcenter modules (e.g., Product Structure, Workflow, Change Management, Document Management, Requirements Management, Supplier Integration). Strong understanding of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and customization frameworks (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, Style Sheets, Handlers). Proven experience in designing and implementing complex integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems. Extensive knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server) as they relate to Teamcenter performance and scalability. Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning. Familiarity with various deployment models, including on-premise, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and hybrid environments. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency in programming languages relevant to Teamcenter customization (e.g., Java, C++, JavaScript).

Definir la feuille de route technique et la strategie Teamcenter en coherence avec les objectifs globaux des TI et de l'entreprise. Preparer des plans d'architecture, des specifications techniques et des documents de conception pour les implantations, mises a niveau et ameliorations Teamcenter. Offrir un leadership technique et des conseils d'expert aux equipes d'implantation afin d'assurer le respect des normes d'architecture et des meilleures pratiques. Evaluer les nouvelles fonctionnalites Teamcenter, les technologies et les outils tiers pour determiner leur pertinence et leur impact sur l'architecture existante. Assurer la performance, la fiabilite et la maintenabilite du systeme Teamcenter grace a des decisions architecturales solides et a une gouvernance technique efficace. Collaborer avec les analystes d'affaires et les architectes de solution pour transformer les besoins d'affaires en solutions techniques et en conceptions architecturales. Superviser la strategie d'integration de Teamcenter avec d'autres systemes d'entreprise (ex.: ERP, MES, outils CAO). Effectuer des revues techniques et des audits des configurations, personnalisations et developpements Teamcenter. Encadrer et offrir du mentorat technique aux equipes de developpement.

Vos competences et votre experience



Baccalaureat en informatique, genie, technologies de l'information ou domaine connexe. Plus de 10 ans d'experience progressive en TI, dont au moins 10 ans specialises en implantation et architecture Teamcenter PLM. Expertise approfondie des modules Teamcenter (ex. : structure de produit, flux de travail, gestion des changements, gestion documentaire, gestion des exigences, integration fournisseurs). Solide comprehension de l'architecture Teamcenter, du modele de donnees et des cadres de personnalisation (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace, feuilles de style, handlers). Experience averee dans la conception et l'implantation d'integrations complexes entre Teamcenter et d'autres systemes d'entreprise. Connaissance approfondie des technologies de bases de donnees (Oracle, SQL Server) en lien avec la performance et la scalabilite de Teamcenter. Experience en mises a niveau, migrations et optimisation de performance Teamcenter. Familiarite avec differents modeles de deploiement : sur site, infonuagique (AWS, Azure, GCP) ou hybride. Excellentes habiletes d'analyse, de resolution de problemes et de prise de decision. Fortes aptitudes en communication, presentation et relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacite d'expliquer des concepts techniques complexes a divers publics. La fourchette de remuneration de base pour ce poste a l'emplacement indique est : 86 900 $ - 168 680 $ par annee.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $86,900 - $168,680/year
