United Sport & Cycle's Team Sales Division is seeking a
Full-Time Account Executive
who is an outgoing person and has a passion for sports. The purpose of this position is to develop and implement agreed upon sales plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding the customer base. Working within the sales and support teams you will be striving to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with the company vision and values.
Who YOU are:
You are an excellent communicator with a proven history of exceptional Customer Service.
You have a passion for participating in sports, being a super fan of sports, and able to relate to similar audiences.
You have experience in identifying, evaluating, and implementing new business opportunities.
You have demonstrated the ability to be able to deliver on what you've agreed upon with your past clientele.
You consistently listen well, take notes, follow up and follow through with products you're in charge of.
You can work within a dynamic team atmosphere collaborating with team members and different departments.
You are excited to learn new things and take initiative in improving areas related to the position.
You can maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public in all areas - face to face, in writing, by telephone, and in the use of email.
You are computer literate in all Microsoft Office applications.
You possess familiarity with the use of a dedicated sales CRM.
You are looking to be a contributing member of a team.
You have 5 years of progressive experience in sales.
You have post-secondary education in business or marketing or have equivalent experience.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers.
Work in collaboration with the other Account Executives to achieve team goals and objectives.
Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face prospecting, direct mail, email, networking, etc.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities within your book of business through the use of the existing CRM system, and call reports.
Prepare presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
Develop an annual business plan which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Communicate new product and industry opportunities, special developments, competitive information, or feedback gathered to appropriate company personnel.
Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with equipment managers, association members, coaches, players, business owners and decision makers.
Attend conventions, events and shows as required.
