Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook & Team members to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Team Member Responsibilities:



Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a friendly and positive experience for all guests. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, both in-store and at the drive-thru. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining room, kitchen, and restrooms. Assist with food preparation, including assembling orders and ensuring food quality standards. Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the POS system. Support fellow team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Adhere to food safety standards and company policies at all times.

Cook Responsibilities:



Prepare and cook food items according to Mary Brown's recipes and quality standards. Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of all food to meet food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and ovens safely and effectively. Monitor inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients are stocked and fresh. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following proper sanitation procedures. Work closely with team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation during peak hours. Assist with menu planning and suggest improvements to enhance the kitchen's workflow.

Experience



Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety protocols is essential. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
