Duties
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and customer transactions.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy environment for customers.
Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure efficient service delivery.
Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Support kitchen operations by performing various tasks as needed, including food preparation and basic cooking duties.
Requirements
Previous experience in the food service industry or quick service restaurant is preferred.
Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and safety practices
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Knowledge of sanitation practices in food preparation areas is essential.
