Duties

Prepare food items in accordance with established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Basic math skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food preparation and kitchen maintenance is a plus. Experience with serving customers, cashiering, or kitchen operations will be beneficial.
