We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Team Member is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a fast food establishment which may include cleaning the food or stock areas, operating fryers and broiler, operating food preparation production line, assisting in the kitchen area, and maintaining inventory; performing all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food industry.
Duties
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Assist with food handling and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Perform other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.
Work Environment
Primarily indoor environment with occasional tasks outdoors
Involves standing and walking for long periods of time without frequent rest periods (duration of shift)
Requires frequent motions of bending, wiping, sweeping, mopping, wrapping, and squeezing
Routinely reach overhead, forward and underneath shelves, counters, tables, and kitchen equipment
Frequently squat or stoop to reach items on low shelves or off the floor
Frequent exposure to fluctuating temperatures in areas such as cooler, freezer and cooking sections of restaurant
Occasionally lift, move, carry, and stack cartons up to 30 pounds from various heights to/from shelves
Occasionally climb on stools or ladders and reach for items located on shelves.
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
