Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves engaging with customers, preparing food, and ensuring a clean and efficient dining environment. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in your role. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas Assist with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales Ensure timely delivery of orders and coordinate with team members for smooth operations Support opening and closing duties, including sanitation and inventory checks

Requirements

Experience at any Freshslice pizza location will be preferred. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous Familiarity with Micros POS or similar systems is a plus Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
