Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. Manage customer orders with efficiency and accuracy, providing friendly and attentive service. Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for change and totals. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain hygiene and safety standards. Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, cleaning, or other duties as needed. Follow all sanitation protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus. Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of sanitation practices within a food handling environment is desirable.
