Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and efficient dining environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food industry, develop valuable skills, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; a strong work ethic and enthusiasm are essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems, such as Snappy, to process orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer service. Support team members in various tasks as needed to promote smooth restaurant operations.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours to ensure timely service Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week
