Quesada Burritos and Tacos at 13737 96 Avenue, across from Surrey Memorial Hospital, and at Central City Shopping Centre in the food court is looking for front-line and kitchen staff who have flexible availability and are able to work some day shifts and evenings until closing at 9:30pm weekdays and weekends (96th Ave. location) or an overnight shift from 9pm-5:30am and mall hours (Central City Shopping Centre location).

Training will be provided on the job.

The part time position is ideal for students looking to gain some experience working at a fast food restaurant! The full time position is available for someone that has previous experience in a Quick Service Restaurant.

Team Member Responsibilities

You share our focus on Hospitality First, making our guests feel welcome with your friendly manner. As part of our team, you will:

Create and serve customized fresh menu items, ranging from burritos and tacos, to quesadillas and nachos Prepare our made-fresh-daily salsas and homemade guacamole, as well as other flavourful food items for our service counter Demonstrate high food safety and hygiene standards at all times, ensuring a safe, neat and clean environment Handle guest payments

Qualifications

Food service experience Cashiering skills Strong customer service abilities Food handling knowledge Previous restaurant experience Proficient in cash handling Understanding of food safety protocols Food preparation expertise Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS Excellent time management skills Basic math proficiency Sanitation practices Kitchen experience Upselling techniques
