We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service and hospitality within a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
